Christy says that I don't post enough, so here I go :) I feel like I am such a mondane person, so it's hard for me to blog. Let me know if this is boring and if I should just stick to posting pictures!
Yoga is rapidly becoming one of my most favorite things in the world...it's right up there with swimming and surfing. My yoga classes in Los Gatos are Power Yoga classes - they are heated to an average of 90 degrees, full of energy, and you sweat like crazy. There are two teachers in particular that are absolutely amazing. I can push my personal boundaries with yoga. I am not a competitive person, but I find myself trying to do more and more each time.
I am absolutely addicted to arm balances. Addicted. The more I learn, the more admiration I have for break dancers. I see a lot of yoga in break dancing. Those dorky guys from the 80's suddenly aren't so dorky anymore - they are completely awesome. I'm proud to say that I can do some pretty cool things now. For about four years now, though, I've had a personal Everest that I just cannot overcome. It's called Forearm Balance (http://www.sunandmoonstudio.com/Poses/forearmbal.shtml). I've been trying to do this pose without a wall for a long long time.
Today, I was able to hold it away from the wall for about 5 seconds. Can I tell you how happy I was? I'm slowly but surely on my way. That's right. Today was a good day :)

Holy cow, you seriously did that yoga pose? That is unbelievable! Way to go! I have been so busy that I haven't gone to yoga in a month and I miss it so much. I love it when you blog and I don't think that pictures are necessary. Keep posting - there is no way you could be mundane.
Holy abs of steel Batman! That's AWESOME! Inspired by you, I tried to do a headstand the other night - I somersaulted over and hit the dresser. The dogs came running to check on me. No worries, just my ego was bruised...
Chris - Try headstand against the wall at the beginning, so you don't run into the dresser again :) At least if you fall backward, you'll hit the wall! FUNNY story though!! I've totally done that many times!
Amy - when you move out we're so gonna be yoga buddies :)
